With the 2012 season just days away, Rhapsody Winterguard is pleased to welcome back a majority of the 2011 staff. Returning to work with the World Guard are Jimmy Fursman, Jonathon Brown and Jennie McDonald. After four years of leading Rhapsody A, Brett Harbur will join the World Guard staff as the sabre tech.

Rhapsody is pleased to announce addition of Shaun Seagraves to the World Guard staff as the new rifle tech. Shaun has performed with Northern Lights and Avaleros, and has taught at several schools including Kamiak HS in Mukilteo WA and Vermilion HS in Ohio. With a strong performance and teaching background, Shaun will be an excellent addition to the World Guard staff.

Rhapsody Winterguard of Seattle, Washington has named Marie Caryl as their new Director of Operations. The position was created earlier this summer by Rhapsody's Board of Directors to help maintain the organization’s rate of growth and the level of excellence members and fans have come to expect from Rhapsody.

“Marie brings great organizational talent to our administrative team and will drive growth in our younger programs as well as provide a fantastic member experience for our older students,” says Executive Director Jimmy Fursman.  “Last season, Rhapsody operated five winterguards throughout the greater Seattle area and we’re currently looking to add more for the 2012 season.  Marie will be an integral part of that expansion."

Please join us on September 17th & 18th for our annual audition weekend, with auditions running from 11am to 6pm both days.  The audition will take place at Gateway Middle School in Everett, WA.  This event is run as a clinic with students getting to experience dance, flag, rifle and sabre.  Registration begins at 10:30am Saturday.

High School students are encouraged to attend as an educational clinic.  If you are interested in attending or have questions about joining Rhapsody Winterguard, please Contact Us.

The cost for the audition is $25, or $15 per day for high school students to attend the clinic.

The Rhapsody Rhoad Show is a series of localized color guard clinic events that feature the staff and members of the 2-Time World Champion Rhapsody Winterguard from Seattle, Washington.

Get your guard tuned up and ready for their spring season by participating in one of these great afternoon clinics in your area!

Classes are offered in Rifle, Sabre, Flag & Dance at multiple levels.  Every session is lead by a specialist in each discipline and supported by high-level performers.  Your students will receive individual attention and detailed information appropriate to their ability level.
