Volunteering

Rhapsody Performing Arts is always looking for a little extra help. We have a great extended family full of talented people who really enjoying working together and share a love for the colorguard activity. If you have abilities that you feel would be of benefit to Rhapsody, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Prop Masters - Creating the stage for the Rhapsody guards is no small feat. We always need handywork done and help painting our floors every year.
Photo/Video - Documenting the great work of the Rhapsody kids is very important. Performing in the guard is an unforgettable experience for our members. Collecting images and video of their journey is always appreciated. We can never have too much of this stuff.
Sewing - Costumes, flags, props and more are all necessary to keep the group looking its best. If you can't sew, help with cutting, pinning and ironing always speeds up the process. Projects can go home with volunteers or be done in a group setting.
Cooking - While our performers are definitely old enough to fend for themselves, having some meals taken care of on trips, show days and camp weekends certainly reduces the burden on them. Anything from homemade dishes to doing a Costco run to ordering pizza works well.
Driving - as Rhapsody continues to grow, our groups will be based out of all areas. Getting the guards and their equipment to and from different practice facilities and show sites takes many people working together. If you have time or a vehicle to help transport the colorguard on show days, rehearsal days or longer trips we'd love to here from you.
