Boot Camp 2010 will take place from June 27 - July 1 in Anacortes, WA. This new event is designed for recently graduated colorguard performers who want a little more intense guard experience.  The emphasis will be on technique and training at a level beyond what is normally encountered in high school.  The curriculum will be geared primarly towards preparing students to audition for Rhapsody Winterguard.  By learning exercises and techniques a few months ahead of auditions, students can feel more confident and prepared in the fall.

Boot Camp's main goal is to provide every student with an outdoor summer camp experience that is focused increasing their individual skill level. Through intensive technique & choregraphy classes in dance, flag, rifle, sabre, marching and theatrics, Rhapsody is able to give students the tools they need for success in their guard programs with out the time, financial and travel commitments of other summer colorguard opportunities.

Camp includes housing, food, instruction, transportation  & t-shirt. Students will need to provide their own rifle and/or sabre. Rhapsody will have flags to borrow and some beginner equipment for those who don't have access to rifles or sabres.  Of course nothing would be summer camp without swimming, hiking, cabins, campfires and skits, so that is on the agenda too!
