About Rhapsody
__________
Rhapsody Winterguard began as a small team of college-aged members in late 2005. The intent was to use the sport of Winterguard to create an atmosphere that encouraged individuals to grow into teachers and productive members of the community while putting forth a fun and challenging Colorguard show.
Since then, Rhapsody has quickly grown as an organization through numerous accolades and an ever-diversifying group of members and staff.
__________
In 2007, Rhapsody proudly won its first World Championship in Independent A class and a corresponding promotion to Independent Open. 2008 saw the inception of our second full competitive unit, Rhapsody A.
In 2009 Rhapsody won the Independent Open class World Championship and made the jump to World Class in 2010.
In 2012 Rhapsody saw it's largest expansion, by adding two more competitive units for high school students and our fan-favorite, The RhapsoWiggles – a beginning color guard for performers ages 5 – 8.
